Grapevine police investigate the scene where they found seven people dead outside Dallas in Grapevine, Texas, Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011.

Four women and three men who police believe to be related were found apparently shot to death, and authorities said they believe the shooter is among the dead.

Six members of a Texas family apparently opened Christmas presents just before a relative dressed as Santa Claus showed up, opened fire and killed them before killing himself, police said Monday.

Grapevine police spokesman Sgt. Robert Eberling said the shooter showed up in the Santa outfit shortly before gunfire erupted and was a member of the family.

They found four women and three men, aged 18 to 60, dead. A motive for the shootings remains unclear.

“It appears they had just celebrated Christmas. They had opened their gifts,” Grapevine Police Sgt. Robert Eberling said Sunday, adding that the apartment was decorated for the holiday, including a tree.

Jose Fernandez, a 35-year-old heavy equipment mechanic who moved to the complex with his family about six months ago, said he always felt safe in the area, but is now afraid to let his 10-year-old son play freely outside.

He had to say this thread.

He knows his past threads are full of them but as I pointed out earlier the boy just can't tell the truth.

I don't have the “inclination” to look for your snarky anti Texas posts. Everybody knows you hate Texas and I have just been wondering why. There has got to be a reason for it. I have seen you say it was because Texans were hitting on California. I have been on FR for a long time and other than the “fruits and nuts” comment occasionally I have not seen that much anti-California here.

Muzzie? As if such things never happened among the good Christians of America.

We tend to underestimate the pain and heartbreak caused by divorce, since divorce is as common and pedestrian occurrence today as the Amish jumping the counters at McDonalds franchises.

The man’s revenge however, didn’t work, since everyone’s dead, and don’t know they’d been punished. There are better method’s of vengeance.

It's like Texas is the new LA.

Oh no...How hateful and offensive can one get!

You're joking right Eaker?

How babyfied can you possibly get?

That comment is what got ya all shook up?

But ya forgot this part of the same post, when I said bad things about LA.

Here, let me post the rest of that same post, so the rest of the easily offended can see it.

#88:

Everywhere ya go in LA, there is nothing but foreigners, most of which refuse to assimilate, refuse to speak English, or abide by the rules.

It's wasn't enough for the government to roll out the red carpet for millions to enter illegally, so they decided to import millions more from Muslim countries, legally.

Uh oh....Now the the easily offended from LA are going to start crying...not....lol

BTW Mr. Eaker, it's the absolute truth, as recent news articles have clearly stated, most of the new arrivals into Texas for the past several years are mostly foreign nationals and illegal aliens.

Remember what I said about stating the truth?

You can't handle the truth.

lol...

As a 6th-generation hard-core Texan, I'll be the first to admit that we sometimes think we're somehow "superior" in a perverted sort of way. If i weren't so hard-core, i would probably get on my own nerves. But just to show people that we can laugh about it, here's something y'all may enjoy. Some guy from Georgia who was doing his dissertation didn't like Texas either -- he claims that Texans are guilty of rampant fraud. Here's an excerpt!
MOST DESPERATE PEOPLE: THE GENESIS OF TEXAS EXCEPTIONALISM (by Michael Kelley)

Preface: The purpose of this study is to advance the knowledge of early Anglo settlement of Texas, to provide a foundation for further inquiry into the individuals who settled Texas in the Mexican era, to add to the body of early Texas history, and to question the validity of Texas exceptionalism. < snip >

In the end, this study demystifies the persona of the early Anglo settler in Texas. The Anglos were not as portrayed in legend, and only by extraordinarily good luck did their revolution succeed. They were arrogant, greedy, and racist, but they were also rugged individuals and risk takers. The Anglo settler experience in Texas was mirrored throughout the west as pioneers settled western lands but Texans successfully constructed their history to portray themselves as different and exceptional.

IOW, we Texans are the only ones who think we're "exceptional." Furthermore, according to this guy, the validity of all those stories we trade amongst ourselves about our early settler ancestors is highly doubtful; and our skewed sense of self-identity is based on an elaborate, bald-faced lie we began constructing in 1821 and have been telling ourselves for the past 190 years.

(Remember The Alamo!:)

We? Heartbreak? That's a hoot coming from you.

You're the one that came on this thread early on, posting jokes complete with humorous pictures, apparently thinking mass murder on Christmas is something to joke at.

Anyone can read back and see for themselves.

You clearly lost sight of the fact that 6 individuals, who were totally innocent here, regardless of who they were, were all brutally shot to death.

And you digging the jokes, no? Now, you’re the superior God, judging others.

The first thread was the mournful one. You posted a duplicate thread provoking jokes.

The first time a tragedy, the second time a farse.

Still, you don’t get what happened, do you, kneejerking with your thoughtless cliched anti-Muslim responses.

WOW...I have absolutely no idea what your talking about. Care to explain about how I provoked jokes from you?

(Some of these people just make baseless comments very similar to involuntary burps)
