Well, the noise of the generator will be a giveaway, but not letting anyone see what you’ve got is a good idea.

I’m in NYS about the center of the state and right now it’s a crap shoot whether we’ll see anything from this or not. But considering the panic buying I see people who should know better in winter do when a snow storm is forecast, I can just imagine what the reaction would be if they thought a hurricane was going to hit us.

I’m always well stocked, but will be out shopping tomorrow anyway so will double check my supplies and list. It’s good to have fresh food on hand in any event. It’s just that much longer until you have to dip into your supplies.

I’ll be praying for your safety, as well as the others in the path of this storm. Do let us know how you make out.

One other Freeper suggested I get a propane based generator as they send to be very quiet and the propane is much easier to store in my outside shed.
