Kudos to Don Lemon for this fair and worthwhile analysis of two VERY DIFFERENT CANDIDATES. Fantastic video revealing and contrasting Bachmann's rounds through Sunday talk shows with Palin's natural candor while responding to on-the-spot questioning while walking through the state fair.

I guess this settles all the bs that some people have been saying that Sarah only talks to Fox News..she will talk to ANYONE, any network, any reporter, who shows her respect, you show her respect, she will talk to that person, if that person says nasty stuff about her, she won’t give them a moment of her time. Wolf Blitzer was actually shocked that Palin answered every question, of course she did Wolf, she is NOT afraid of the press..she will sit down with anyone, as long as they are fair

I agree.

They're also terrified of her because:

1. She believes what she says about Limited Government. She walks the walk, not just talks it.
2. If you attack her, she just gets stronger. She never gives in, never gives up.

I'd love to be on her campaign staff and her Presidential staff.

As the saying goes, I'd charge hell with a bucket of water for her. She is that good.

Well that's how "Sarah's Going Rogue" originally came from her handlers when she actually talked to the reporters shadowing her. Those reporters are somewhat isolated from the rest of the campaign, the only advantage they have is access to the candidate. If they are fair, the access continues. If the access is denied from the start, they have no reason to be fair.

I THINK, Governor Palin views these interviews as something of a business transaction. She now has value. Any interview is a ratings getter. She is going to determine who trades on that value and on what terms. Tell me what other politician can say that.

What of Fox? She gets paid to perform a service. Obligation ends there. Fox has no more right to trade on her value than any other media does.

She has said she will not waste her time on media types who are not interested in a healthy exchange of ideas. I say, More Power to Her.
