I have the same trouble. I wear hearing aides but heck, when I’m in the kitchen and the tv is on in there and the living room I don’t hear squat. My friends just come on in, but I have a note on the door and at our local Fed EX and UPS to just leave whatever behind the screen door and I’ll eventually find it.

One year ago, I couldn't even sit up to shuffle to the door. These days, well.... I'm doing better.
