It's been old home week here. My former neighbor, Gene, is back to visit his sister (neighbor that I cook for). And he is something of a legend around here. Lock your doors, hide your wimmen, kind of legend. He ran these neighborhoods back in the '50s and '60s and was generally a terror, before he enlisted and terrorized the US Navy.

So we sort of partied last night. Had a great time talking about the old days (except that every other time you asked, what happend to so-and-so, you find out they are dead now).

So the upshot of all of that is I didn't wake up until 7AM CST, and it hurts to blink.

Life is good.
