It’s rather chilly in Northern IL for the middle of May.
Coolness is better for transplanting, though, so that’s a good thing.

It’s rather cool here in central Alabama, too. That is a good thing because when we came home from Orlando, the air con was on the fritz. Hubby will call a repairman today.

You should see my garden. Green 'maters as far as you can see, squash ready to pick in a day or two. My herb garden is going great, thyme, cilantro, basil, sage, parsley, shallots, etc... I actually use all that stuff.

Tobacco is planted, as are salad greens. I transplanted volunteer corn from the former pig-pen to the main garden (for some reason, it seemed well fertilized). Okra is growing good, and the sunflowers against the fenceline are 2 ft tall.

So how's the weather up there? ;)
