WHO ELSE WANTS DONALD TRUMP TO BE THE BOSS?

Posted on 03/16/2011 9:46:21 AM PDT by hope_dies_last

Upon hearing the comments made by Donald Trump over the last few weeks... In my personal opinion, I conclude that this man should be "The Boss" and run for high office.

Trump actually has the 'cohones' to deal with the real issues facing our nation. In a recent interview on the Michael Savage show, he conveyed that good-ole' Ameerican, can-do, exceptionalist, old time, roll-up your sleeves attitude in plain english that makes sense.

Trump's ideas on foreigh policy, the country's economic woes and fiscal responsibility solutions are the best I've heard from anyone so far.

The recent comments Trump made regarding Obama playing Golf while Japan faced the greatest crisis, since WWII, and as Rome (the U.S.) burns, quite frankly, settle any doubts in my mind about what makes this man tick and helped me catch a glimpse into this man's moral fiber, taking him at his word.

I want Trump to not only be my boss, but THE BOSS, in the White House, that is.

I know I am not alone in this sentiment... It would be great to see a grass-roots, citizens' motion or pre-nomination, precursory to a Trump official announcement or any GOP nomination. Maybe if Trump got the citizens' nomination, he would be tipped to run for office and with much work, hope and support, gain a landslide victory.

Any freepers out there who have the resources and time to start a website where FReepers and the citizens, "We the People" of the United (still-the-most-exceptional-nation-on-God's-green-earth) States of America could voice their support and sign-on to a pre-announcement support of Trump for the Presidency?

He is the most, if not the only qualified candidate out there, and even the name "Trump" reflects that fact.

Rudy would have been a better president than The Donald, and Rudy was not a favorite of this site by a long shot - but I see you just started here in 2010.

We live in interesting times - Obama needs to go - whatever that takes, I’ll vote for whoever can make that happen.

I read an article a few days ago that said social media could create a condition to have a president that is not R or D - and that could be as early as 2012. I’m ready.

Not me.

Trump is no conservative, and he’s not really much of a leader, which is an odd thing to say about someone best noted as being a business executive.

Trump could do it. He could get things done. Leadership is proven BUT he lacks political experience. Let him run a state or a big city first and IF he can make that sing-—then the White House. Let him be Governor of New York and then we will see if he can take the wheel of the USS United States. See what happened when we put a new comer in—we got Obama.

I’m more interested in Allen West as president. He seems like the real deal. I wish he would get out in public more so we can learn more about him.

Not surprisingly... No.

The country’s political landscape for the presidency is like the deserted island scenario...

If you were stuck with Obama, Mc(the-fall-guy)Cain, Mitt Romney and Trump—uhum, uhum, who would you choose?

I am tired of all the nit-picking. I don’t care about every single issue. We need to stay focused.

The issue is—financial meltdown of the U.S. economy... I don’t care how Trump made his money in real estate, it obviously made economic sense and why he is now sitting on over 7 billion.

What is boils down to is Trump is a shrewd business man with a track record who also happens to know, not just running a business, but managing people—the most unstable component of any business. That my FRiend take organizational and time management skills.

How could anyone in their right mind that it would take anything less that a proven, successful businessman to run the country? This is what and these are the people that this nation was founded on.

Give me a break all you McCain and Romney supporters...

Please if you know where to pledge my support, I’ll be the first in line... Trump’s got my vote

You should have started your piece with “Attention all Trump haters, here is your chance to vent”

I like Trump. There are explanations for many of the attacks against Trump. Myself, I'll wait to see if he actually runs, then hear him out on his positions and his explanations of criticisms. THEN I'll decide. In the meantime I am not going to trash the guy. I like what I hear so far.

Trump opposes Obamacare. He has his own plan. I'll wait to hear it explained. Maybe it is a good idea. I'm not going to argue now. I'll wait to see if he gets in.

The problem with what Trump says is that it contradicts both his words and his actions from the past. That's why waiting to see what he'll say next is fraught with problems. If they continue to contradict the past then why trust him now?

For instance, he has donated more money to democrats in the past than to republicans. But suddenly he is a conservative? But he was pro-choice in one of his books (I've heard here on FR, didn't read it myself) but now is a conservative?

Trump is RINO, not a conservative. I think we can decide that for sure right now.

... and goes on with his foolishness and phony “comb over”. ...

However, as David Brooks said when they were discussing Trump's CPAC speech on Meet the Press, "It sounds like he may throw his hair into the ring." I thought that was a great line for a liberal.

I dream of the day when Trump goes up on the inaugaration platform in 2013 and points at Obama and says, “Your fired.”

Where does he stand on immigration? “Entitlement” programs? Nation building? Second amendment? States rights? No Child Left Behind? The muslim threat? Etc., etc.?

I ain’t voting for a blank slate. If Trump is conservative on these issues, I may be in for him. But I’m not going to support him just because every Hollyweird idiot is his “friend”.

I want Trump in this race. I won’t vote for him and he won’t win. Still though his message is needed.
