I’ve been watching “Gosford Park,” with Maggie Smith and a few other recognizable faces, but not too many that I can put a name to.
The clothing and details of the period are excellently done (post WWI) as is the music. A little over two hours, so I’ve been watching it in shifts, of a sort. But it is memorable, and may bear watching again.
Netflix on the computer is pretty awesome!
It’s nice that you can watch the Netflix streaming.
We got to church in the truck at 1:00, so only five of us could go. Anoreth decided to go, so Tom stayed home with little boys, and the girls were out in the snow, so Pat went. Only about 40 people there, including a dozen or so non-Spanish speakers. The 5:00 p.m. Mass will get more people, if the temperature doesn’t drop sharply. Roads are clear, but wet, and they’ll ice when it gets cold enough.
