But they only work if they are scanned. (at least the ones here.) The animal could have 50 of them and if the animal is taken inside, moved out of state, or whatever could happen, again unless the chip is scanned it does nothing. If the chips worked where they could just press a button and find the animal wherever, that would be cool.
