The one page had the Spurs named DFW Spurs, while the other has them as Dallas/Fort Worth Spurs. The latter is correct and it may sound more natural to you.

Yes, White Sox sounds right. Have no idea about AAA or the like.

Six Flags Mall is still there and open, albeit with a number of vacancies. The Forum 303 Mall a few miles south of there has been demolished and replaced with a large trucking/warehouse complex.

The ruins of the old racetrack stables for Arlington Downs were found on the south side of Division St. (south of the ballparks), just to the west of Stadium Drive. Oil States Rubber Company was just east of the stables.

Tom Vandergriff was a good guy. He did do a lot for the city. He served one term as a Congressman and was I believe swept out of office during the Republican Revolution. He went on to be a judge and may still be serving. Unsure about the last part.

The Spurs might have been AA. A clue to who they were farm for...I remember seeing Don Baylor play for them when I was about 10 years old. He was drafted in 67 by the Orioles.
