Quran burning events just makes us more like them (radical Islamists, that is).

It also needlessly - and stupidly - offends many sincere Muslims (like the Pakistani colleague who called me from Pakistan on 9/12/2001 to express his deepest condolences, and another Muslim friend whose only display of anger (ever) was as he talked about how the terrorists have distorted Islam for their own purposes.)

Hint for more effective strategy: Paul, speaking on Mars Hill in Athens used reason, starting by citing the idol set up “To an unknown god” and winsomely proclaiming truth and liberty. He didn’t start by taking out idols with a wrecking ball.

My heart bleeds for the “sincere” Muslims. If they were sincere, they’d be pushing me out of the way for the matches.

Sometimes you just have to be like Jesus cleaning out the Temple! Actions speak louder than words...Americans are tired of cringing at the mention of hurting the feelings of ‘sensitive, moderate’ Muslims. Rauf wants to draw the line in the sand of Ground Zero? HolyO wants to claim America is a Muslim country built on Muslim history and ideals?

These are the consequences!
