A liberal friend of mine said... (Vanity)

I've been hearing on the Lib circuit a repeated credo: They believe, with all their hearts, that it is the mission of Conservatives to return to slavery.

"Backing it up" with beliefs that conservatives ARE racist, and are doing their best to take blacks out of power and higher positions, portray them as inferiors, and then ultimately enslave them.

These people are completely unhinged.

Just giving you all something to prepare to talk about in the next few months.

Take one look at my white skin and based solely on that, they call me a racist.

And they never notice the irony.

Conservatives are always going to be accused of being evil, vicious, foaming-at-the-mouth racists. Like the sign at the Tea Parties that says, “It doesn’t matter what this sign says, you’ll call it racist.” The reason the “R” word works is because whenever it’s applied, conservatives grovel and apologize, beg and plead with the libs, “Please don’t think we’re racists!!” It’s time to laugh the “R” word off or attack the libs right back. Then it will lose its sting. Just my opinion.

There IS going to be a return to slavery . . . thanks to liberals. What do you think excessive taxation is? The HUGE deficit - who is going to be FORCED to pay for that? Generations of welfare mentality will make some (an d this isn’t exclusive to any race) willing slaves. So slavery will (or already is) come to pass. But that is financial slavery - not racial.

Slavery? One example. High tax equals slavery. What kind of simpletons do you hang with. My 10 year old neighbor knows if he can keep more of his money he is more independent.

Independent or slavery. Your friends are FOR slavery.

I’m a racist, but it’s becoming clear that I have it in for all colors equally. At the very upper reaches of my racism you’ll find birkenstock-sporting, unwashed intellectual posers tailgating their unsound thoughts at Journolist. Then, after that are a motley of various colors, often moldy, red, bleary.

Yes, I don’t like the bleary colors very much.

The United Nations has long been pushing the meme that “white = racist” or “european = racist”.

The NAACP is dependent on that meme. (along with an uneducated mob for them to rule over. Middle managment for the Democrat party’s efforts)

Print out Col. Frances Rice’s Letter to the Democrats, and mail them anonymously to your “friends” to educate them.

You can’t argue with an intelligent, BLACK, female who has served this country so well.

Interesting you should mention this.
If you are assigning the definition of "changing [the way of] things" to liberal and "keeping things the way they are" to conservative then I am quite liberal because I want more Truth, more Justice, more Logic, more Consistency, in "the system" [but especially within the law]. I want things to change FOR THE BETTER!

However, I don't think anyone would call my little quest to resolve the differences between my State Constitution and several State Statutes anything but Conservative, especially considering that it is calling the state on having laws like University/School bans for firearms even though the Constitution says:

No law shall abridge the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms for security and defense, for lawful hunting and recreational use and for other lawful purposes, but nothing herein shall be held to permit the carrying of concealed weapons. No municipality or county shall regulate, in any way, an incident of the right to keep and bear arms.

The complete disregard for Constitutions, at all levels of governance, should be very disconcerting to both 'liberals' and 'conservatives' because a government that is not bound by laws is like a raging & out-of-control fire which consumes anyone opposing wherever the political winds happen to be blowing. Just like a wildfire such a government has no regard for people's lives, homes, families, or well-being. Contrasted to the fire which is kept controlled and in its fireplace it seems to be a wholly different thing because the controlled-fire gives light, warmth, cooks food, makes certain processes possible or much easier such as kilning pottery or metalworking/metalsmithing.

To illustrate my point, consider this portion also from my State Constitution:

Every man shall be free to worship God according to the dictates of his own conscience, and no person shall ever be molested or denied any civil or political right or privilege on account of his religious opinion or mode of religious worship. No person shall be required to attend any place of worship or support any religious sect or denomination; nor shall any preference be given by law to any religious denomination or mode of worship.

If the state can legitimately pass a law which violates the Citizen's right to keep and bear arms then the state can also legitimately pass a law preventing Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, etc from voting (or petitioning the government, or producing political literature). Both are prohibited, in the same way, by the same [presumably legal] authority: the State Constitution.

Having the ability to force racists to do as they say is the foundation of the leftist tool kit.

Through the commerce clause, the civil rights act of 1964, force businesses who may do business with people who cross state lines (hotels, motels, restaurants, theaters, and all other public accommodations) not to discriminate. This is enforcement of behavior.

If they don’t have the legal ability to enforce behavior regarding racism, the moral or legal case isn’t there to enforce most any other kind of personal behavior.

That is why they reflexively go back to racism whenever they are challenged.

If they can’t cry racism, they can’t cry over anything.
