74% Americans Know What the 4th of July is About, 26 Percent are Clueless
Yesterday, in the coffee shop of our building, I saw a sign that said it would be closed Monday in observance of the "Fourth of July Holiday." I asked one of the women that worked there if she knew the name of that "Fourth of July Holiday." I told her it was strange how many places don't even refer to the actual name any longer: Independence Day. I told her that I hoped the second independence day would be starting this coming November with America's declaring itself independent of an interfering, rapacious, over-taxing federal government.

"I told her that I hoped the second independence day would be starting this coming November with America's declaring itself independent of an interfering, rapacious, over-taxing federal government." Yeah there's nothing that will win votes for conservative principles like obnoxiously shoving politics and ideology in someone's face while they are trying to go about their job.
