This is America’s Chernobyl. The same type of devistation for years to come. Nothing will grow in the gulf again in my lifetime.
If they can contain it fairly soon the Gulf will recover, otherwise it would be a dead zone from the Ixtoc spill and Prince William Sound would be also.
