A boy of five was left stranded in a tree at school because of a bizarre health and safety policy - which banned teachers from helping him down.
The mischievous pupil climbed the 20ft tree at the end of morning break and refused to come down.
But instead of helping him, staff followed guidelines and retreated inside the school building to ‘observe from a distance’ so the child would not get ‘distracted and fall’.
The boy was only rescued after 45 minutes in the tree when passer-by Kim Barrett, 38, noticed the child and helped him down herself.
But instead of being thanked for her actions by the head teacher of the Manor School in Melksham, Wiltshire, she was reported to the police for trespassing.

‘I was immediately concerned. I walked over to the school with the boy and was met by the associate head.
‘He didn't appear at all concerned, and was actually very patronising, patting me on the arm and asking me “what do you expect me to do, exactly, dear?”

That’s what happens when you let worthless pencil-pushers write policy from the confines of a cushy office.
I read stories like this from the UK regularly - the political correctness run amok, a seemingly cowed populace subjected to ever increasing levels of rules, mandates, taxes and invasions of privacy, levels of bureaucracy that think “observing” a child stuck in a tree from a distance is keeping him safe - and I think we’re peering into our own future if the American Left has it’s way.
Found another one I’m going to post. Teachers pretended there was a school shooting to teach the kids about forensics. Complete with fake gun and a teacher acting dead.
Of course in the US kids get suspended for pretending their fingers are a gun.
The people in charge of the UK are ideologically identical to the idiots currently in charge of our country.
This is what happens when the Left is allowed to make the rules. They end up paralyzing the law-abiding part Western culture into paralysis. On the other hand the Left has helped to embolden the terrorists, thugs, dictators, and bullies of the world.
Which means that the only way normal, average citizenry can make a libtard see the light is to adopt the tactics that the libtards embolden.

Truth is, they were portraying real people in real life...
The story went on to say she was arrested by the police for trespassing. How long were they going to leave that boy up there and did the school call the proper authorities to get the boy down? Cops there can’t save a child drowning in a car in a canal because it was unsafe ... had to wait for the proper team - by that time the child drowned. The Brits are that stupid - eventually they’ll disappear through their stupidity.
No Child left Behind unless he is up a tree. Brits1 Wait till Obama’s second Term.
