As a liberal, why does she not want the healthcare bill?
Is this a case of everyone is conservative when they have to make decisions about their own best interest?
This is not a rhetorical question, though. Would like to know more.
Liberals oppose the deathcare bill because it is not socialist enough i.e. no public option, at least that is their excuse. It could well be that they see their own healthcare going down the tubes and they don’t want to admit that is the real reason.
She thinks the whole thing is a scam. For example, she said that, although pre-existing conditions will be exempted, there is nothing to stop insurance companies from charging people out the wazoo for the policy. Not sure, but I think she is an advocate for single-payer. Her goal is to kill this healthcare bill.
My guess would be because it mandates buying insurance rather than having a public option. The left wants the government in complete control.
