He’ll get splinters in his arse if he sits like that. ;)

That throne is tiny. You’d have to be a wee man to sit on that.

Or shish kebabed.

Not what I'd expect for royalty.

Sure they did — when my Scots ancestors sailed away to America.

I know mine were on the lam but have never been able to find out just what they did or were accused of, probably fighting against the Brits:).

...sure did, it’s now I pictured the Pictish. Couldn’t see the throne though.

There’s nothing like going to all that time and expense to build a replica throne, then model it with the museum secretary...what?

&&&

Exactly. I would have liked seeing a full picture of the throne without having it obscured by someone sitting in it. How dumb to put her there.

Probably left the homeland for a better life in America, as most did (and still do):

Well, after all, the Scots are always engaged in a fight to the death with their lifelong enemies, the Scots.

“My mother’s maiden name was Clark, which is Scottish.”

The Clark tartan is also the Clergy tartan - and a very pretty one it is, too.

Everytime I see that word...here is what comes to mind..."Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict"...maybe including a bit of a conga-line, eh what?

(still waiting for those flash-backs they promised we'd have)

It’s kind of hard to see the actual construction of the throne. Is the seat curved outward like a barrel? Seems difficult to stay seated.

Didn’t know the Picts were that organized. I always thought they were more of a nomadic type people. Interesting.

You'd have to have more than a wee dram o’ the Glenlivet to be standing around naked like that in Scotland.
