Thanks for the review - we plan to see it when it comes to a theater near us. Otherwise we’ll have to wait and redbox it. OB

Well I got the mower started...the back yard is mowed. The front yard grass - er weeds - aren’t tall enough yet.

We cut the grass yesterday and it looks so good. It’s amazing what a little lime with the fertilizer will do. From the street it looks like there is a lot more grass than we really have:)

And they are such sweet looking kittehs, too.

OB and I read this blog called "Fetch My Flying Monkeys" and it is hysterically funny most of the time. Yesterday she wrote about her serial killer cat, Tinks. I think your two could give her a run for that title!

Miss Alex pulled another all-nighter last night. They’re both sacked out in the sunroom this morning.

we haven’t lost any egg layers in over a year... some eggs to black snakes, but not chickens... thenewcat hangs in thecoop bushwhacking mice... if they get away from thenewcat, they still have to avoid bein’ eht by the chickens... must suck to be a mouse...

I guess the chickens are too big for thenewcat. Oh well, it works!

My kittehs like to play that toss-the-prey-in-the-air game.

Coolcat - mice are good mood food for cats. Any ground squirrels, chipmunks on theridge?

Our chipmunk is still around, wood pile for cover and dropped birdseed and sunflower seeds for food. Not much reason for him to leave. Gypsy doesn’t pay him much mind.

Not much bird activity on the front feeder, figure the hawk has added our feeder to his regular route. OB

Well OBL is swimming with the fishes, sad to see a few Freepers saying that the celebrating is ‘unseemly’. Sad to put politics over country.

In further good news it seems that Hugo Weaving (Elrond) has finally been confirmed for ‘The Hobbit’. It became clear when he popped up with Peter Jackson in Wellington, NZ.

Pics, or it didn't happen. We are still dealing with 0=44, you know.

Don’t believe that they will get Navy Seal Team 6 to lie for the administration.

In brightest day,

In darkest night...

OB

Yep, we're looking forward to that one, and also to Thor, coming out this Friday. Saw Atlas Shrugged as well, and it was pretty good, and fairly faithful to the book.

You know, the trouble you're having getting Gypsy to eat sounds a lot like the trouble we've had getting our dog Missy to eat. She'll eat something enthusiastically for a day or two (or just once) and then not want to touch it again. I finally managed to work out a recipe for home-cooked food that she'll eat, usually... especially if I tear up a piece of American cheese and hide it under the food. The recipe is mainly browned ground turkey and short-grain brown rice, with some no-salt green peas and boiled chicken hearts added, and once a week fried beef liver chopped into small bits and added in. She seems to thrive on it (lots of energy, anyway...) and last time she saw the vet she was told to lose five pounds, so she's not starving at least. If you want the full recipe, just let me know.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to come off short.

The fact is, that all I’ve heard so far is the 0=44 announcement and a report that whoever they got was shot in the face and buried at sea.

When KSM was arrested, and Uday and Qusay and Saddam met their ends, pictures were published quickly and the urgency of disposal of the remains was somewhat less.

I’d be glad to hear anything else from anybody, but would not be instantly credulous on anyone’s say-so.

And I haven’t heard anything from anyone claiming to be from SEAL Team Six, and given the secretive nature of special ops forces, I don’t expect to hear anyone say “I’m so-and-so from ST-6, and I was in the room when so-and-so #2 ID’d OBL and shot him.”

Yes, please! I'll not be able to add the green peas but it sounds like something she might eat. When Gypsy first got sick she took her teapills wrapped in American cheese, now she prefers parmesan cheese, but that's a easy substitution. It would be great if I could get her to eat and stop losing weight.
