The surgeon is quite pleased so far. FIL required too much care for MIL to provide at first and finally agreed to go to assisted living temporarily. I expect he’ll be home in a week or so.
He’s getting stronger and appetite is better. He’s 85 years old and has only been hospitalized twice in his life, both within the last year and both for this same shoulder issue. Pretty darned good, I’d say.
