I have the best possible support group!

We had a busy day. We took Dad to a doctor’s appointment (he had to fast for a test) and then took him to brunch (but we made a quick stop at a doughnut shop so that he could have coffee and a sandwich beforehand.

Brunch was in NH and it was a glorious day. We took our time and then ambled home, whereupon I baked a pumpkin pie to take with us when we travel tomorrow.

Dad must have had a good time as he thanked me more than once for driving there and back.

I did rest for a bit, but will need to start packing soon. :)

Hi saveliberty. Sounds like a great day. Having lived in New Hampshire many years ago, I still remember how beautiful the fall seasons were there.

Pumpkin pie, eh? Sounds better than the Twinkies that we travel with.

You said your dad had a fast test? How fast was he?
