This past weeks weather, here in Central Mississippi, has been beautiful. Highs in the mid 80’s and overnight lows in the 60’s. It looks like we will be in the low 90’s this week with lows still in the 60’s. Nice for this time of year!

Well, I wish we had some cooler weather here in central Texas. We actually failed to make triple digits yesterday and may not hit 100 today. We've had 15 consecutive 100+ days until yesterday.
Tomatoes are almost done for the summer. I may cut them back and let them regrow for the fall. I've done that several years and usually get better fall tomatoes since the roots are well established.
Squash and zucchini are drying out as well. Cucumbers are just sitting there with a few blooms and the vines look sick. It's so dry here the trees are whistling for dogs to stop by and water them.
