Depends on the type of hound...We had one that would cahase them and bring them chicken to you....usually dead (probably died of fright)

Our border collie will herd things. In fact just read that if you have a Canadian Goose problem, get a border collie, they will keep them out of their area.

We walked her around the border of the property as instructed the first weeks we owned her...She doesn’t leave or allow anything else on. When the horse tries to stick his head through the fence...She lets her know it’s NOT ACCEPTABLE behavior in a not too timid way.

Very loving and “takes care” of dad. Wakes me if he’s up at night. Tattles on him when she thinks he’s doing something wrong....She has been the perfect dog for him and for our “farm”...Very smart and minds well.
