This individual persistently comes on FR threads; as do several naysayers;

flinging insults and sometimes even very pointed assaults as to folks’ sanity, IQ, idiotic beliefs etc. etc. etc. etc.

ad nauseum . . . essentially trashing threads and chasing folks away who’d prefer to discuss the topic rationally and seriously.

It would be wonderful if there could be a reasonable solution to this problem. I realize it’s rooted in FR’s history etc. However, the persistence of so many naysayers acting like harsh abusive assaultive bullies destroying UFO threads is quite beyond annoying.

IIRC, We now have more than 160 UFO ping list members who’d prefer to discuss the topic seriously and in a civil tone. Most avoid commenting on the threads BECAUSE of the typical naysaying assaults on their sanity, character, IQ’s etc.

The ONLY way I’ve ever been able to protect the UFO threads in the slightest is to throw back at the naysayers a much neutered version of their own attitudes.

PLEASE help those of us who enjoy this topic find a solution.

This may be more than an academic hobby interest if, as many believe, OThuga is getting ready to disclose a lot of UFO information.

It is also worth noting that we have an injured Iraq Vet MD specialist surgeon who retired from a hero’s career as a Navy Vet . . . and went back to Iraq because of his rare specialty . . . who’s a famous person involved in the Roswell crash—who as an eleven year old boy handled the Roswell crash debris samples his father brought back from the crash site the first time on the way with them to the base.

This excellent Vet MD IS ALSO INSULTED AND RIDICULED ROUTINELY on these threads.

Back in ‘93 I was acting as a Field Investigator for MUFON. Nowadays they are a debunking operation blaming everything on Venus sightings, but back then it was different. Fascinated with anti-grav propulsion I was drawn to UFO investigations. While reading a copy of UFO Magazine I came across yet another story about Project Bluebook. It gave the names of some of the people involved with Bluebook back then. I was reading the story aloud to a friend. He recognized one of the names in the story as being one that belongs to one of his professors who was teaching at the local State College. I contacted the person at the College. It was him. He came to my home a day later. He had a manila colored file folder with him. He told me that Project Blue Blook was not closed down in 1969 but ran up to almost 1980. Some of the materials which were collected at the end of the run were not turned in. His manila folder. In it were photos of “saucer nests”, round depressions in tall grass that were located in Northern California and were located on the ground beneath the spot where heavy UFO activity had been observed for some time and reported to Blue Book by a nearby military installation. There were 3 tripod depressions within the larger round depression. There were 2 larger round depressions some distance apart. They were radioactive well beyond normal background and displayed some phosphorescence in the night. He had color photos. He also said that while driving his Blue Book van up towards Northern California and the reported landing site, as he got close he wittnessed something associated with UFOs called Cryptozoology. A large Black Cat, a Puma or a Black Panther native to South America and out of place for Northern Cal, lept out of the forest at the side of the road and streaked across right in front of his truck. If you can imagine a mountain foothill ridge with a wide flat spot that overlooks the valley down below, thats where these 2 saucer nests were located...

There are people interested in reading these threads with an open mind and we appreciate the posts.

There are a lot of threads that are not of general interest, but which have an avid following but which some people disapprove of, like the PC vs Mac threads and the “Fashion Police” sorts of threads - and this kind. There can be a lot of controversy caused by those who have some axe to grind.

If any subject is not of interest or someone thinks the people who are populating the thread are nuts, then that is not a thread for them to stay on. Personal attacks have no place here. Responses to them only take the focus off the subject at hand. Complain privately to the admin and the people will be zotted and the comments removed.

If those of us who are truly interested in this topic (or any other controversial topic) refuse to take the bait and don’t respond openly, these people will eventually go away and leave us in peace to enjoy our topic.

Giving this information out is a needed service that our useless media won’t handle. We can’t let anyone silence or distract us.
