Jesse Martel? His book about his father’s discovery? I’ve read that book, if that’s what you’re talking about.
The whole dilemma for most - the crux of the problem - is the cognitive dissonance which occurs at the moment one first admits to oneself that it is, in actual fact, possible that extraterrestrial biological entities are here, and have been here for quite a while. It’s like, “Huh? What? Hold on a minute; no way. That’s just plain nuts.”
Which is a little strange in itself, given the popularity of Star Trek and so on. I mean, it’s not like the CONCEPT is unfamiliar - not by now, anyway.
But, then, on Star Trek, it’s the muscular and self-confident Captain Kirk and his loyal sidekick, the omniscient Mr. Spock; or, alternatively, the infinitely supercilious Captain Picard, acting on behalf of we “Earthlings” as our space missionaries, who are bringing the benefits of our “advanced” culture to the interplanetary retards. It’s a little disconcerting to some, it would seem, to realize that WE’RE the retards.
In fact, according to many accounts, we’re so darned retarded compared to the visitors that they don’t even bother to attempt communication with us, except for the most basic variety of interaction, generally executed telepathically; they just carry out their medical experiments and then dump us unceremoniously back where they found us.
Sort of undercuts our high opinion of ourselves as “human beings,” getting treated with not too much more deference than we accord cattle or laboratory chimps.
And as for the ways in which they treat cattle - the surgical excisions and so forth - fuggedaboudit.
You don’t have the name correct.
We aren’t allowed to ‘out’ fellow FREEPERS’ true identities. A very serious offense hereon.
However, he has asserted in open threads that he was 11 years old when he handled the debris. There’s only one person that fits those specifics.
There are a disturbing number of reports of people being mutilated precisely as cattle are . . . including being awake without anesthesia as long as that’s physiologically possible . . . what with every drop of blood being drained etc.
