Self correction, Mamouth Cave is in KY, not TN.
The known, mapped part of Mammoth cave is 350 miles long, though very little of it is open to the public (about 6 miles). It is actually probably bigger than that, but locals don’t want to acknowledge that their caves are attached to Mammoth, as then the park service will take over their property.
