My son is recovering from a virus that included major headache, sore throat, aches and pains etc. Everyone where he works had it as well. I live in the sierra Nevada mountains in California.

I live in the same area and my daughter just had the same flu. The symptoms are like any other flu that I have seen except for one thing, her sore throat was so bad she couldn't swallow food for 3 days and had trouble with water. Refused to go see a doc. I think it was regular flu, she is recovering now and almost back to normal.

IF a person could really tell the difference they wouldn’t need all the extensive testing. Good news is..if it was a mild form of this Mexican Swine Flu...she is immunized! lol
