LOS ANGELES -- Pop star Rihanna was reported on Friday to have reunited with her R&B singer boyfriend Chris Brown, less than three weeks after he was alleged to have assaulted her.
People magazine said Barbados-born Rihanna - who had hits with "Umbrella" and "Disturbia" - and Brown were spending time together at one of the homes of hip hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.
"They're together again. They care for each other," People quoted an unidentified source as saying.
"While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves," the source said in a report on People's website.

Indeed. Unfortunately for their victims, this type of wacko usually has a highly developed sense of who will just plain shoot him and who won't. He avoids the one and specializes in the other.
I know that and I have become pretty skilled at weeding out the ones who I know are not crazy from the ones who are. I also know that insanity is contageous and that if you live with someone who is nuts, you can also become nuts. So I give it time and I also make sure that I bill more an hour than a good therapist and insist that the person is seeing one. Keeps me from getting so drawn into the drama that I can’t practice law.

The one good thing that could have come from this, was that Rihanna could have left his sorry ass and never turned back. That could have been a good lesson for other women.
I sometimes wonder if women in this situation reconcile to a certain extent because they think they may have driven the guy to do it. We all realize there is no excuse for this behavior. If the woman is causing a problem, much better to grab your coat and get out of the house for a while. Let things cool off.

There is a code that almost every man has heard, and that is that you don’t hit a woman ever. Sadly, women have heard it too. And some of this taunting is leveled at guys because the woman thinks she can do absolutely anything, and the guy has to just take it. Well, they are right, but it takes a guy with a lot of self control to live up to ‘the code’.
Those who don’t are in the wrong.
The only time I think a woman is fair game, is when she starts wailing on the guy. If she’s a stocky woman, she can cause serious injury to the guy.
In my white trash neighborhood, had a man beating the snot out of his wife in the street. Several men were pulling him off when the police showed up to physically and agressively arrest the thug. The woman jumped on the cops back for hurting her man.
Seem same scenario repeated on COPS to many times to care anymore.
She was raised in the ghetto of Barbados with a druggie for a mother. She was discovered as a model and then by a rapper for a singing career. She hasn’t had the stablest of influences. I just pray she finds someone decent to help her. But the rap community isn’t it. Even that stupid Kanye West announced on his blog yesterday that we should give Chris a break, I mean he knows how women can provoke things.
So until she gets out of this lifestyle, she will go the route of many other rapper girlfriends.
I wondered why some women, who are beated to mush, go back to the abuser, often before the wounds are healed.
They are as sick as their partner is brutal.
When we learn that many in their community insist she must have done something to make him mad, we realize that it’s all our problem.
Are we to live in gated communities to protect us from this violent mentality?
