This is why it wasn't very bright to "elect" a Marxist community organizer to be the President of the United States. Dumb idea. Really dumb idea.
It doesn't help that the previous President opened the door on the bailout issue. I think it's probably one of the worst things Bush did, because it opened up the way for Obama and his crowd to spend like there's no tomorrow, and to start the trend towards nationalization and full-blown socialism.
