SHE is every inch the Hollywood superstar.

Long, glossy hair, snow-white teeth, and a slim yet curvy figure most of us can only dream about.

Yet, despite having the dosh to spend thousands on a strict celebrity beauty routine, film star Catherine Zeta Jones has a few surprising beauty secrets she just can’t live without – beer, honey and a spot of fishing!

Catherine, 39, a self-confessed cosmetics junkie, admits: “I am absolutely devoted to cosmetics.

“I came out of the womb wearing make-up, and I never leave home without my eyelash curler.”

But far from relying on posh facials more in keeping with her celebrity image, Catherine believes looking good does not have to mean shelling out.

And though she is the face of cosmetics firm Elizabeth Arden, the Oscar-winning actress is more than happy to resort to more natural methods to looking good.

My mother looked so much like her as a young woman...as if they were twins. I always felt I had the prettiest mother on the block and in the school. When I first saw Catherine Zeta Jones on screen I thought about my mother, who lived to age 83.
