A skull and bones found near the Florida home of missing child Caylee Anthony are those of the little girl and she was the victim of a homicide, the Orange County medical examiner said Friday.
"With regret, I'm here to inform you that the skeletal remains are those of the missing toddler," said Dr. Jan Garavaglia.
The manner of death was ruled a homicide by unknown means, according to Garavaglia.
Garavaglia determined the bones found in a privately-owned wooded lot were 2-year-old Caylee's through nuclear DNA analysis.
"They are not intact. They are all disarticulated. They are completely skeletonized," the medical examiner said. She said some of the bones found were "tiny."

At least they found her. RIP, Caylee.
Poor little baby. But she’s better off on the lap of Jesus than being raised by that depraved scum of a mother.
What a shame that this child was left to rot in the field for all these months.
Inquiring minds want to know if this was a gift for the babe’s grandfather, former LE

The worker found bones Dec. 11 near the Orlando house where Caylee lived with her mother and maternal grandparents. He also had called in a tip to police on Aug. 11, 12 and 13, telling them to look in the same area for the remains, police said.
This should be interesting.
Get a rope for the mom.
Sad story as whenever a child is killed.
However, once again Greta and Fox News proves that some children’s deaths are more important than others.
Now, Great must go looking for another missing or murdered white female.
I don’t think so, because I did a search and didn’t find anything. The ones I saw were from December 11, when the remains were found. This one confirms it is the little girl
I don’t see multiple posts since the story broke only 50 minutes ago. But I’ll search.
It should be indeed be very interesting
Yikes. Wonder what he knows. Maybe he just thought it would be a good area to look - it does appear the water level has changed since June/July. Maybe he's familiar enough with the route to know that. Hope he's not involved.
I’m not so sure this one didn’t become important because of the reprehensible dysfunctional family that couldn’t tell the truth if their lives depended on it.
post toasties probably meant when the remains were found
Mom has a long neck. If she is the murderer may her neck get even longer!
