I’m using the Alphabetical Order on my iPod, thus Jimi Hendrix is J.

I guess I'm in the minority, then. All of my music (digital, vinyl and CDs) is categorized first by artist. If it's a band then the first letter of the first word of the band name is the alphabetical choice. If it's a person, then I use the artist's last name. If it's something like Tommy James & The Shondells then I categorize it under "James, Tommy & the Shondells" and that's the way it is on my MP3s too.

Then within each artist, my CDs and vinyl are sorted by year of release.

I suppose I'm just picky...
