He started picking up the flags before the campus security arrived but was out numbered and in unknown territory. He must have felt like he transported to a Iran university when he went into that place.
I give some but not much credit to the student who came to shake is hand and thank him, though he and the student with the camera, should have started scooping up the flags.

The video is oddly reassuring. I noticed a lot of the students refused to walk on the flags and a student on crutches went out of her way not to walk on them. This may be protected speech according to the SCOTUS, but it is not art. What it is, is some little snot-nosed leftist wasting either Daddy’s or the taxpayers money and likely both.
I do wonder if these particular leftists are as duplicitous and hypocritical as most? For instance, if Confederate flags were displayed down the entire hall. It is after all, just a symbol. Just because we are free to do something doesn’t mean that we should or that it is right. What good is being free to speak when those speaking are without honor, integrity or respect for others. I would have collected as many flags for the old vet as I could have before they tazed me or collected enough muscle to move me.
I’m surprised Stephen King didn’t drive up from Bangor with his wacky wife to take a walk on it too. He thinks UMO can do no wrong but truth is it’s been an anti-American University for years.
Maine is a weird place to live and getting worse........
I hope that this act of spite is remembered when the next federal money is doled out.
How about an art exhibit next week where everyone walks on those multicolored Africa sybols in the shape of the continent?
Those are used to remind people of the great PanAfrican unity that existed. Peace and prosperity was there for all until whitey showed up...
