Hellyer is a stone cold liberal socialist whacko, who worked with Trudeau to amalgamate the Canadian Navy, Air Farce, and Army into one big conglomerate called the Canadian Armed Forces. Then having comletely destroyed meaningful connections to the history of these forces, they implemented a bi-lingual policy where promotion was predicated on speaking both official languages: French and English.

THe man is not only a political haridan to Canadian Consewrvatives, he is nuttier than a 5 year old fruitcake without rum sauce.

But he is right, when the liberals can't deliver a viable energy policy to fit with their coming Garden of Eden Utopia,preached to all Canadians along with bilingualism, then the aliens will come and bail the liberals out. I suppose the aliens will be bilingual too.

None of us are nominating him for sainthood.

Nevertheless, quite a number of folks respect somethings about him--including some conservative military folks in our armed forces.

He has at least had some connections worth some interest, if not respect.

And, he has taken a courageous stand worth some consideration.

Evidently he's as saintly or devilish as those reporting on him construe him to be . . . Some found/find him wonderful, sane, responsible, diligent etc. and others horrid.

I only know that the UFO stuff he's mentioned is old hat to those of us well read or connected to the topic.
