AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2186) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | January 16, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 01/16/2007 4:56:21 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm.

[It turns out that Day 2186 simply requires two days to complete.]

Pelosi warned President Bush not to abuse his power regarding any future troop increases.

Vice President Cheney responded by saying you cannot run a war by committee and that the DemoncRATS don't have a plan for Iraq.

This left Pelosi crying out "we have a plan, and he knows it." Nyan, nyan, so there.

To be fair, Pelosi did iterate her plan, and said the President should follow it. She indicated the region would become stabilized if the troops in Iraq "were redeployed out of Iraq." In other words, quit.

Two questions: (1) would Pelosi be saying this if troops were in Iraq and a DemoncRAT were President. Answer--of course not. It would be agreed the policy was sound.

(2) Does she want America to lose? No (see answer to #1), she wants President Bush to lose. The hatred runs that deep.

I cannot imagine Republicans ever doing this. Not even during the sordid days of Impeachment did Republicans ever draw issue with the conduct of affairs in Yugoslavia; we acknowledged the rights and prerogatives of the commander-in-chief.

And the DemoncRATS call themselves leaders? They have not demonstrated an ability to play well together in the sandbox. They should not be in charge, they should return to kindergarten for remedial education.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Hi, I'm back. Mrs. Chairman and I had a nice trip. We spent the weekend at the New River gorge. The rain stayed away for us too.

Good morning. I heard that Obama has a plan too. It's to stop the president from accelerating the war.

I love the new river gorge.. have spent a LOT of time there over the years... wonderful. Summerville area is most famous but their are other parts equally great.

Why do I really KNOW that white water rafting/kayaking was not part of the weekend?

That is why I normally go there

Welcome home. snowing here... finally. Not happy with it, but we have had such a mild winter thus far that we are "due"

ABC News writes an article about "24" and the whining is delicious.

Bianculli believes Fox is more manipulative with its product placement than anything else. "In CTU headquarters — which is information central — they are always watching Fox News," Biancilli said. "Now that is ridiculous."

I think that's in the area where Mr HOB and I went white water rafting. If it's the same, it's gorgeous! Glad you enjoyed yourself!

It sounds like three-quarters of California's citrus crop has been destroyed by cold weather.

Recently I read in Prevention magazine that Crystal Light Sunrise Classic Orange is a good source of Vitamin C so I bought some. I haven't made any yet but the can says that one serving provides 100% of the daily value of Vitamin C and with fewer calories than most glasses of orange juice.

I have it too. I like it, not as much as regular orange juice, but I do like it. I read that regular orange juice has lots of sugar in it. I read Prevention magazine too. And I just picked up a copy of the Weight Watcher's mag yesterdy. It is pretty good and reasonable if you subscribe to it.

Wow! Very quiet here today.

Continued prayers for Kay and her new little gc. I hope they'll get us know what the situation is as soon as they hear.

GOOD 'AFERNOON' CHAIR, ALL, FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED BUT NOT BROKEN!!!!

I am hoping the rebuild part starts down here so I will not have to keep saying 'BRUISED BUT NOT BROKEN', In sureacnce companies STILL trying to crayfish out of paying claims, once this is settled this place is going to boom!!!!

The kids are on a 'show the kids' trip today, yesterday we went to N.O. and visited and today, SIL visiting his kinfolks, somehow I don't think they are going to take to wee, wee, little Mauree being he is black. That youngun sleeps all day and cries all night, I think this will be the last of the wee little ones for foster parenting. I am in my 'Shack in the Back' and don't hear him, but when he does cry he has one set of lungs.

Would you believe I felt some sleet this morning?? Might get more tonight, I felt it as I went to the wood pile and got a load of wood for the fireplace tonight, taught log splitter is coming in handy, now to split some more wood so it will season for burning for next year, we got enough wood to supply the world I think.

Watched a little of MSNBC today, they ARE calling the war in Iran a 'civil war', El Dumb O's for sure.

OH, this reminds me, I put in for a Spanish child with the foster care lady and she is hispanic, more fun than ordering out of a Sears Catalog, order what you want and it is a shame but they have a little of everything in the center, beats me how anyone can just drop a child that hit the joints like it was a 'time out' break. How can anyone treat such a wonderful little being like this, they did nothing to deserve this kind of treatment.

Gonna fix me some fish tonight, sea speckled trout, talking about good, got a couple of flounders too and this coming weekend my neighbor is giving me some deer meat.

Alright, off to do my chores (very few I admit) and collect my eggs In about a hour, getting 18 to 22 every two days. Jason loves going out to the 'bird house' with me as he calls it and help me collect the eggs, he is gonna today so I will do it myself.

Talk to you later and have a good rest of the day.

Yes, I would like an update from Kay and Poppyseed, too.

Last night was rather tiring for me. I began teaching a continuing ed course on the basics of music, how to read notes and how to sing. I had thought there were going to be 4 in the class. There were 10. That was extremely encouraging. I covered a lot of material last night. The next couple of weeks before anything (much) new is covered, we'll be reviewing and practicing what we learned.

The little one has his days and nights mixed up, has he? this, too, will pass. I went back on Atkins on January 1. I have dropped about 1.5 dress sizes already.

I don't think I'm going to tell people that I'm on Atkins. I'm tired of the hassle. But nobody gets upset when I say that I've cut out all simple sugars and simple carbohydrates. That they understand. But it is the same thing.

both very good for you , Toby. I bet the apples are even good in GRITS!

My brother and sister-in-law had 93 children go throught their house during the course of two years....when they fostered children. It is sometimes so sad, especially when the child goes back to a parent who is really not capable of giving care. One little boy was laft on a street corner at 11 pm by his mother. He was two and 1/2 when she told him to get out of the car and then drove off. They gave him back to her. It's a nutty system prone tothe mother's rights. Heartbreaking...

since the last test showed my sugar is up, we are going to a doctored referred nutritionist. I'll let you know how it turns out. Otherwise, I'm tempted to seek out a weight watcher's meeting.

Isn't continuing education just grand?
