Baseball is back. Hope springs anew. The rivalries, the history, the scandals, the hype.
Tonight features two good teams that are great to watch and will be there at the end.
Welcome back.....
Is WEEI still the flagship station for the Red Sox radio network? I know there was some discussion that the Red Sox might be changing radio stations this year...
Go White Sox
Exactly- new ball club! That's what I hate about professional sports these days...ESPECIALLY men like Damon. I'm STILL feeling that one...
The NERVE.
Coco Crisp will make you forget about Damon. Trust me.
Are you running the baseball ping list now? Would you kindly add me to it?
Good plan...thanks:) I just ate a fresh-from-the-oven brownie...that helped a little.
Actually- the current 5-0 SCORE in the fifth inning is making me forget:)
And Bush threw out the first pitch at Great America Park at the Reds game. Cheers for the prez:

Schill and Beckett will both win 20 games. Our team is just as good, if not better, than the one in 2004.
Schilling just doesn't want to leave this game!
Agreed. Roughly equivalent offense, better infield fielding, a bit better starting pitching, and an honest-to-goodness bullpen.
Yeah, we're a lot like 2004.
Red Sox win! Nice way to start the year. Schilling was dominant and the bats did their job.
Yes, great game (although I missed a few innings). An excellent way to start off the 2006 season! Schilling looked fantastic, and in control. Foulke still makes me nervous. Coco Crisp had a fabulous "web shot" catch in the 9th to lessen the damage a bit. Mark the date and time: Big Papi hit his first homer of the season today - April 3, 2006 at approximately 3:30pm ET, in the 5th inning.
I'm looking forward to many more games like this... :o)
If Schilling stays healthy combined with this run support he'll win 17+ games. Foulke didn't look to sharp but his potential replacement Papelbon sure did.
Meanwhile it's another long year for the Rangers.
Most likely. Yet again they'll score a lot or runs but they'll give up more.
Glad to hear Papelbon looked good today... I missed that part of the game.
He had a 1-2-3 8th and made it look easy.
