I am a homebody at heart I guess. I just like the simple life most of the time.
Yep, me too. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I kinda like my life. Sure, I'd be happy if there was a man here but I'm not going to jump over hoops to make that happen. I think we both know we could, and many women do, can't do the "life without a man thing". Haha, my dad tried to tell me "a woman needs a man". Sure, but I think less than a man needs a woman! I would be happy (very happy!) to have a man, but I've known many women who will take any man and have come up considerably short in the deal. I am holding out for a good man. I think there are plenty but I also want one that has similar interests. That narrows it down considerably!
I'm in there with both of you, 100%. I love to travel some, enjoy my family, meet new people, but I am a homebody too. It would be great if there was a man who joined me in this life, but I WILL NOT SETTLE, again. Question is, where do you find this man with similar interest? I want a helpmate, a soulmate, a kindred soul, but where is he? Where do you find that special one in this life? Somebody please tell me! Till someone falls in my lap, I will enjoy my yard, my vacations and road trips, my little grandchildren, and keep looking for Mr. Right.
I am waiting for the RIGHT man, too. I had the right man in my late husband. I believe you can find love a second time around. I just want to make sure I don't get burned.
Meanwhile, I have my dog Harm. He is almost as big as I am, so he is good for hugs. :)
