I have some work that I am going to attempt to get done tomorrow for school. What is your HW for?

At least you get to go somewhere. I end up stuck at school for most of the year. I can't wait for spring break. Then I get to go to the beach!

What is the history/background of the toasters, like you have on your profile? I've seen other FReepers who have those too.

I have four poli sci classes this semester. One of them is an internet class and I have to be done with the first test Monday by midnight. So I've been trying to study everything. That's most of what I've been doing.

Oh, those are from the Day in the Life of President Bush thread. It sorta started out as a joke. Someone had asked what they got for being first and someone else said they could have a broken toaster. It eventually evolved into the first poster getting a toaster with their choice (or sometimes snugs' choice) of picture on it.

Ah, I'm still a relatively new FReeper!
Where are you planning to go for spring break? When?

That sounds like a good time! Where is that?
I am ready for some warm weather, and I'm still yet to go skiing this winter!!

It's in SC, right next to Charleston. Skiing? I'm a warm weather girl. If it's below 60, I start whining about how cold it is :)

Back for a bit, (in between Jaws and listening to "Every day is Halloween" by Ministry)::
I have a question about Jaws::
WHY did Robert smash the radio when Scheider was calling for help??
was it that he wanted "vengeance " over the Indianapolis" incident? If so, he would had done better with some help from the coast guard, and some bazookas, harpoons, and such, from them.
just curious.

I don't have a clue, I haven't seen Jaws in years!

Typically very mild. It almost never snows and when it does, the whole city shuts down. We don't know what to do with snow. Occasionally we get bad ice storms. One year I was working and we had a HUGE ice storm. The lights outside the store got smashed and there was glass all over the parking lot. But that was in August. There was a big ice storm at home in December but I was still at school. Same state, different cities.

I can only imagine trying to drive there if there is even a dusting of snow! Do you live near the coast?

Nope. My parents are in the Upstate...about as far from the coast as you can get and still be in SC. But it's only a 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive to the beach. I go to school in Columbia which is right in the middle of the state. About a two hour drive to the coast.
I should go to bed now. I have to work tomorrow and study for that test :( See ya later!
