That businessmen rely on cell phones is understandable, but the housewives who use them, sometimes within minutes of leaving their home where they have a land line, is mystifying to me. We really like peace and quiet too much to want to be in constant contact via cell phone, I guess, Two Thirds.
And you be careful on that bike!

I like cell phones because they're a measure of safety for me. If I'm in an accident, have a flat, or whatever I can easily summon help. Also, if I'm at the store and forget something I can call home and check it out. Yesterday, I picked the youngest up at her friend's house to take her to the stables. We were traveling on some unknown roads. The map printed out wasn't specific and I took a wrong turn. I called hubby and he pulled up the map on the internet and was able to redirect me back to where I needed to be. Many minutes were saved by that.
