Is it just me, or are no "pundits" reacting to Deadwards classless comments on Cheney's family? Personally I was appaled at the sattements and had expected some coverage.

That was really dirty pool and all who saw it should be reminded of how LOW Kerry/Edwards will go just to win a debate.
Let the dems win all these unscientific polls. I say, we should all write to the new organizations and ask them to rebuke Edwards for this.

I had the same reaction. I couldn't believe that Edwards was bringing a member of his opponents family into the debate. What if Cheney had brought up Edwards' wife if the topic was obesity? Cheney should have forcefully protested, but instead he thanked Edwards for "the kind words".

I was repelled when Edwards did this too. It was WAAAAAAAAAAY beyond the bounds of decency and decorum. The man has all the manners of the unkempt porcine.
My best guess is he hoped to use it to make Christian Fundamentalists STAY HOME on election day because, "OMG, Dick Cheney has a lesbian daughter! Bush does not deserve our vote!"
