Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

When I first spotted this thread, I was short on time and racing through FR to get a gist of what was going on in the world. This being a Debka source had me going "Hmmmmm". But a lil "voice" told me to bookmark it and I did. It took a couple of days to remember to check back and it then took me two days to get through everything, hours at a time each day! LOL!! Learned my lesson, I did, and now check it first thing every day, and throughout the day as I'm able.

There are many (and you're included) who have added a wealth of info as time has gone along and it's invaluable. This thread is a prime example of why I fell immediately in love with FR when a friend turned me on to it. The way FReepers work together to get to the truth and get it out has amazed me.

I'm glad our 'puter has LOTS of room......I bookmark like crazy! LOL!

In the last 48 hours, actual photographs of suitcase nukes have shown up on "disappearing" Jihad websites.

This one sentence chills me more than anything else in this update.
How many times has it been stated that the chatter intensifies for a while, then things go silent right before an attack? Ummhmmm. Put that with the release of Al Zawahiri's tape the other day.......

It doesn't bode well.

My daughter lives in the Quad cities - specifically Rock Island with several nuke plants. We have 6 Reactors in Illinois:
Braidwood
Byron
Clinton
Dresden ( near Morris, Illinois has poor marks for being one of the 6 worse in our nation)
LaSalle County
Quad Cities

In the mid-1990s there were

13 Nuclear Power Plants in Illinois,

of which one was at Clinton and two each were at Braidwood, Byron, Cordova, Morris, Seneca, and Zion. Illinois has more nuclear power plants than any other state and gets more electricity from nuclear energy than does any other state.
