Exactly. A black swan event is, by definition, unpredictable. I think we all kind of sense that something is pending. But what and when?
First and foremost is to make your peace with your Maker.
The only things certain are death and taxes. Eternity is a long time and not something to gamble with.
That said, I disagree with Ron Paul about not being prepped with guns and food.
Granted nobody knows what will become of each person, but if you are not actually prepped for longer term survival, you won't make it.
I also think getting out of debt if at all possible is crucial. And moving somewhere much safer can't hurt either. I don't see any good outcome when TSHTF for the cities that are cram jammed with illegals and others who have been stirred up to hate whites and everything whites have produced.
One does not prepare, for then it is already too late.
One is prepped. For anything.
First, you must become a prepper in mind and body. 2nd, buy some books on prepping and be ready to spend around 5k - 10k on supplies, guns, and non-perishable food. If you have a basement, even better. Get organized. Find some friends and family of the same mindset. If you can, get to really know your neighbors and feel them out in your organization efforts.
Be sure to leave liberals out of you efforts. They will turn on you in an instant.
One thing to do is have a supply of water. If you don’t buy water, start saving and filing the bottles of milk, juice, etc. and store some place safe. Filling your bathtub with water as an event develops can be useful. 2. is to have iodine tablets for nuclear fallout, or a dropper bottle of iodine to purify water on the go. One or 2 drops in a glass of water depending on size of glass, wait 1/2 hour and then drink your purified water. 3. I always try to have at least a 3 month’s supply of non perishable food on hand, cans, dried beans, seeds and nuts, juice powders, sprouting seeds for fresh vegetables. The Mormons recommend a year’s supply. 4. All you second amendment guys will know what to do.
