Note, Israel entered Gaza on Oct 27.

'I will never vote Biden': Some Muslim Americans in a key swing state feel betrayed by the president. Muslim and Arab Americans say their support was critical to Biden’s winning Michigan in 2020. Some warn they won’t back him again over his blanket support for Israel.

Oct. 21, 2023. By Alex Seitz-Wald, Shaquille Brewster and Kailani Koenig

As President Joe Biden declared unwavering support for Israel in the days after Hamas’ terror attack in Israel, Ahmad Ramadan, a former Biden adviser now leading coalition efforts for the Michigan Democratic Party, called the state party chair to raise the alarm about what he was hearing. Michigan has one of the largest Muslim and Arab American populations in the country, and they say their support for Biden was instrumental to putting him over the top in the critical swing state in 2020. But now, Ramadan and other Democratic leaders in the state were hearing nothing but frustration with Biden — and threats to not vote for him again.

So is this going to happen or did it already happen?

Dearbornistan voted “uncommitted” in the DemocRATic primary as a protest vote against Biden, but make no mistake that they will come out to vote for Biden in the general, because Rashida Tlaib is also up for reelection.

Over 100,000 voted uncommitted in Michigan. Any way you look at it 100,000 is a lot of votes to lose. In Dearborn uncommitted was the majority.

With an obvious lock for Trump over Haley, I will share that I chose the Democratic ballot yesterday and voted "Uncommitted."

I did not vote this way to "protest" the Israeli Hamas War. I just wanted the Democrats to sweat a bit more, maybe freak out in the future and make dumb decisions.

Trump received 758,514 votes to Haley's 294,587. Republican "Uncommitted" was 33,363.

Biden received 618,418 votes. The 2nd place winner was "Uncommitted" at 101,063.

Biden's percentage of uncommitted/total votes is 16%. Trump's is 4%.

12% is a fairly large differential.

It will be interesting to see the true independent vote in the General. I don't know if the 'falling in line' Dems or 'Never Trumpers' crossing over for Biden will be enough ... without some serious, now-expected cheating in Michigan.

If these Arab Muslim peoples are angry at Biden over support of Israel , they’re certainly not going to support Trump instead, considering that Trump is also firmly behind Israel in this conflict. So will it really potentially tip the balance in the election in Michigan?
