Newsom the boy wonder couldn't care less about the safety of Californians. He proved it by pardoning illegals so they wouldn't get deported, and the California Supreme Court had to stop him from pardoning some very violent criminals.

Maybe he has heard of the complaints coming out of Chicago where blacks are threatening to vote Red. While I doubt the blacks in Oakland are going to truly wise up and vote against Democrats in this election, maybe Newsom is not taking chances.
