House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) re-election campaign quietly cut ties in late October with its fundraising consulting firm, Fundraising, Inc. The Republican-aligned fundraising company is a subsidiary of Jeff Roe’s Axiom Strategies. Shortly after winning the Speakership, Johnson was told by several House Republican colleagues — at the urging of Trump campaign aides Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles — that it would be prudent to end his campaign’s use of Roe-affiliated companies. The departure of Johnson as a client of a Jeff Roe-controlled campaign firm is a significant blow to the high-profile Republican political consultant and Axiom Strategies. Meanwhile, some in former President Donald Trump’s inner circle are ramping up efforts to encourage Republican candidates to drop Roe, who had run the Ron DeSantis campaign-aligned SuperPAC Never Back Down. Roe resigned from his role with the SuperPAC in mid-December after infighting between Roe and DeSantis confidant Scott Wagner became public — effectively sidelining the massive pro-DeSantis operation just before the Iowa Caucus. DeSantis dropped out of the Republican presidential primary just one month later.
Roe, known for his bravado, has increasingly rubbed some in Republican Party political circles the wrong way. Critics allege Roe cares more about money than winning his client’s campaigns. They point to his penchant for bragging to potential business investors that Axiom’s network of companies can capture most of a candidate’s campaign spending. While Roe and his Axiom team ran Never Back Down, nearly half of the SuperPAC’s spending flowed through Roe’s companies. Campaign finance data suggests the pro-DeSantis operation squandered millions in donor dollars paying political consultants — dangerously bloating the SuperPAC’s operating costs. Only a fraction of the budget was spent on tangible campaign efforts.
Hope Roe can find a free soup kitchen.
Good move.

DESANTIS: MY SUPER PAC
DID WHAT?
'The way Jeff presented it to me was that we were going to change the game and revolutionize the way presidential campaigns are run, that I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. How could I have been so obtuse?'
Boy are the dominoes falling.
Don't worry about Roe. He probably embezzled enough from the DeSantis campaign fiasco to keep him going for quite a while.
Any Harvard lawyer should have seen this coming ... a quick phone call to Ted Cruz about his Iowa experience was all it would have taken ... so high IQ is automatically erased ..
NOW.... Who did President Trump back in the last Missouri Senate race when the slug trans-republican talent left elective office with his coffers filled? I will give a hint ... “Eric”!!!! wonder why???? another hint WHO was Roe working for ... The MO senate race was a mess .... AND MO threaded a small eyed needle.
What took so long??
THAT is as DISGUSTING as the Pierre Delecto (Mitt Romney) picture of the dollar bills falling out of his pockets!!
ok
Too bad “Trump campaign aides” aren’t urging prudence by severing the Trump campaign from WinRed.
[Jeff Roe visits DeSantis in Tallahassee]
Roe: I’m sure by now you’ve heard. Mike Johnson has left Fundraising Inc. Terrible thing. But we just have to put it behind us... move on.
DeSantis : I’m done. Everything stops. Get someone else to run your scams.
Roe : Nothing stops. Nothing... or you will do the hardest time there is. No more protection from the DOJ and FEC. I’ll have them pull you out of that governor’s mansion and cast you down with the J6 prisoners. And the 2028 run? Gone... You understand me? Catching my drift?... Or am I being obtuse?
Roe : [to Casey] Give him another month to think about it.
Yep, do not donate to Trump through Winred.
Jeff Roe is toxic. Hopefully he is out of politics for good.
That is inevitable when they run out of other peoples money.
Just like in politics.
Sounds like the GOP house is listening to the right people!
Doesn’t matter. The way Trump’s is set up, Trump gets 90% and his own SuperPac gets 10%.
probably a prudent move to cut ties with all the top honchos involved with the desantis campaign, because the Feds might decide that the chinese wall that was supposed to be between the desantis campaign and his support PACs was more like the open border with Mexico ...
Roe is a snake
Political campaigns that are too well-funded often become dysfunctional.
