It is past time to start boycotting the awful produce in most markets. Root vegetables are so big, they are obviously over watered, giving weight to them, but diluting the nutrients. Citrus and many other fruits, avocados are so hard,they rot before they ripen.Any item waxed should be refused. $$$$ is the motive.

It’s never safe to ingest mercury or lead and these toxic substances accumulate in our bodies.

Don't eat those by the spoonful! Without stating the actual amounts of those HMs (heavy metals) in the product it's pretty much a meaningless statement.

Lead and mercury are out there, everywhere, from coal power plants and the days of leaded gasoline, etc.
