DeSantis In Fight with New Hampshire Republican Women
The National Pulse ^ | JACK MONTGOMERY

Posted on 06/27/2023 6:56:53 AM PDT by SoConPubbie

Ron DeSantis has been accused of making his “worst strategic move” of the race for the Republican nomination so far, getting into a scrap with a conservative women’s group by scheduling an event in New Hampshire on the same day as their annual fundraiser.

“It’s just stupid, actually. You don’t take on the New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women,” said GOP strategist Mike Dennehy of the Florida Governor’s move to counter-programme the “Lilac Luncheon,” which is being headlined by his opponent former president Donald J. Trump.

The GOP women’s group put out a statement chastising DeSantis: “[I]t has always been a New Hampshire hallmark to be considerate when scheduling events,” they complained. “To have a candidate come in and distract from the most special event [the women’s group] holds in the year is unprecedented.”

“If there’s one thing you don’t do in New Hampshire, it’s piss off the grassroots women,” commented a source described as an adviser to one of DeSantis’s rivals. “Don’t mess with them, they remember everything. Rookie move.”

Dennehy, a former staffer on the Rick Perry presidential campaign in 2016, also warned “it could be death by a thousand cuts” for DeSantis if he continues making unforced errors.

Was either of the Bush presidents conservative ,in your opinion?

In my opinion Trump is not a conservative, but yet he was far more conservative than any of the Bush family members.

Do you also support the war in Ukraine?

“...Trump is no conservative...”

Look at what Trump did for America and the American people in his 4 years...And it was done almost alone with very little help from the “professional politicians” of the republican party...

Trump is an American.....

“More Trump cult nonsense”

And notice....the propaganda always comes from the same few operatives here. I wonder how much the Trump campaign is paying them to trash DeSantis 24/7...?

It reeks of Democrat leftist tactics, doesn’t it. Odd, that.

What part of Trump's first administration was not conservative?

Was it:

  1. Low inflation?
  2. Low unemployment, especially for blue collar work?
  3. Rising real wages?
  4. Standing up to China and tariffs?
  5. Building a wall and having the most secure border since the 1960s?
  6. Cheap gas, super high oil production?
  7. Selecting 3 SCOTUS judges that fundamentally changed the court?

That is an incomplete list but please tell us what is not conservative about any of those things?

“No worse than this Trump nonsense. I am a loyal conservative voter. Trump is no conservative.”

And neither are his operatives here that are trashing DeSantis, the only Conservative running, on a daily and 24/7 basis.

The term conservative is irrelevant anymore. Trump is who and what we need, right now, at this time.

“Neewb is a DeSanctus fluffer!!!”

You keep calling people that. But I keep thinking...better a fluffer than a Leftist-Assistant f**ker, which is exactly what you are doing. Assisting the left by attacking DeSantis.

Calling us cultists is supposed to make us shut up and let the Ron followers own the bored. Right out of the DNC playbook.

Ron got some bad advice to run against Trump. He is looking like Jeb 2.0.

Another lying desantis supporter/likely nevertrumper....

So Trump controls the N.H women’s group now, and tells them what to say and do?

It seems all the vocal desantis supporters here don’t have any qualms about lying or mis-representing things....

Just like desantis has no qualms about lying, mis-representing things, or even committing fraud.

DeSantis should have stayed in Florida...

He jumped into the deep end. While Trump was running. And jumped in after the Durham report, which showed Trump has been public enemy number one to your Deep State and Swamp.

Public enemy number two on that list are MAGA voters..

Tough to run against Trump especially after your govt speak report comes out confirming how terrible your govt has been, especially to Trump..

DeSantis could be hiding as governor, sitting this Trump vs Swamp fight out, but he decided to jump in the deep end of the pool..

MAGA voters, number two on the Swamp’s public enemy list, are not enamored with the R team Swamp swimmers in the 2024 pool..

And your DeSantis was on the radar of MAGA voters long before he jumped in.
Because Trump was on to the FL Governor’s jump into the pool before DeSantis announced.

Jumping into the pool with Trump while MAGA voters are watching, is one way to sink your future..

“Assisting the left by attacking DeSantis.”

Then why are you attacking Trump, who is attacked by the left a thousand times more than they attack DeSantis?

We are SOOOOOO early in the process. If Donald Trump doesn’t get the nod, it’s anyone’s guess who will. DeSantis at this point could well turn out to be a JEB!

“New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women”

Florida politicians should not be expected to be aware of such a group.

DeSantis has scheduling issues that determine where he is going to be able to be. His people will try to optimize things but once some events are lined up his time will become geographically constrained.

“DeSantis should have stayed in Florida...”

Every four years is going to get tougher for Republicans because some Democrats are illegally changing the demographics of the country.

Florida is booming right now and DeSantis wants to run on that.
