OK, I know this is going to get me a lot of hate; not from you per say, but in general. Why shouldn’t non-citizens be allowed to be police officers? If they are here legally and take their oath to uphold the law and Constitution seriously, why not? I’d rather have a non-citizen who is Constitutional minded upholding the law than some LEO who is a citizen and on a power trip violating people’s right willy-nilly. I support LEO, so don’t pretend it doesn’t happen, we all know it does.

It falls in to the category of foreign members of the military. If their allegiance is where it is supposed to be, they are doing the job the way it’s supposed to be done and they weren’t placed there as some sort of quota system, where is the problem?

OK, I am willing to have a civil debate with you. I am a Latina. How much time have you spent in a Different Country would be my first Question to you.

No. Just No.

There is a military term that I think is applicable here:

*Mercenary*
