In a development straight out of a dystopian sci-fi thriller, fast food giant Wendy’s has embarked on a chilling experiment, replacing its drive-through order takers with an AI chatbot powered by Google software. This technological takeover aims to streamline the ordering process by training the AI to understand customer requests and decrease waiting times at the drive-throughs.
According to reports from the Wall Street Journal, Wendy’s is set to launch this eerie transformation in its home state of Ohio, starting with locations in Columbus. The company plans to implement the change in June, all in the name of shorter lines and faster service, as declared by Chief Executive Todd Penegor.

I refuse to use any app—they can steal information on you and sell it to the highest bidder.
My motto—take this app and shove it.
It will be a while before that takes place on a wide scale. The low level jobs will be gone first.
The powers that be want all of us on welfare and tech is how to achieve UBI utopia. If all of the jobs have been eliminated, well, onto the welfare roles you go.
Besides, right now there is a mass amount of jobs that are available but people are refusing to fill them. There's help wanted signs everywhere. GenZ (not millennials) are setting records for their laziness and unwilling to work "this kind of job. That job is beneath me."
It's more fun to sit in the basement sponging off the parents, while being an "influencer" on YT or the 'Gram.

By eliminating one human job, the human is freed by the robot to do another job.
The net result is that more jobs and work gets accomplished
Now then, there is the Elon Musk/Tesla problem. Elon Musk in his current production method has eliminated 40 robots per car. That is either robot unemployment or robots freed for other work

Charges of racism can ALWAYS be made, at any time, for any reason. AI calls the Popo on an unruly brother or sister who tussles with the Popo. Unruly brother or sister dies after said tussle then they was MURDERED by the SYSTEMIC RACISM in this country.
I’m older’n dirt, but I prefer using the apps. Especially at Chic FilA.
I live in Northern Virginia..just about nobody I deal with on a daily basis speaks with a Southern accent.

AI is going to take out as many high end jobs as low end jobs.
The high end earners are the ones powering consumer spending.
Some fields like Medicine and Law will be protected by laws and powerful cartels restricting what AI is allowed to do.
Not so sure about the rest of us.
so if all workers are replaced by AI.
1.Who will be using the drive thru
2. Who will own a vehicle to use in the drive thru.
3. Only motorized vehicles are allowed in most drive thru’s, bike and pedestrians are banned

I am damned happy that I am over the hill, in my 70s and don’t know how much longer the GOOD LORD will give me on this stinking cess pool of a planet, but I pray daily for the Harpazo/Rapturio/Catching Away/Rapture of His Church. Don’t know which one will get me first, I am praying for the big R, because if that happens, that means it’s soon. The only damned thing the communists in Sodom on the Potomac can do to me is take away my retirement, SS and VA disability or shoot me to save the money. But, this stinking wicked, sinful, cess pool, filthy, polluted, smelling, rock of a planet doesn’t have much longer to spin. Maranatha, Even So, Come LORD Yeshua!!!
I welcome this development. With the way customer service and employees have been, I do not trust a human to make food for my consumption. Some of these places are truly horrific.
