The way I read it is that South Carolina is safe territory for Democrats, but they need more time to cheat in Iowa.
That’s how I read it.
SC is Biden country. By putting it first it will provide him with “legitimacy”. If he is out by then, it gives the minority candidate an upper hand.
This is bad for Mayor Pete. They don’t like him in SC.
SC is red.
