Honestly, based on the way FIB treats people, I would be very hesitant to make any declaration of fact in an interview or deposition these days of political witch hunts. Having stated that Fauchi need a rope and a drop.

In any event, Fauci's "I don't recall" theme came with a price. The judge had ordered Fauci to testify and Fauci, who Trump was told was the most brilliant medical mind in the country on this issue, essential flipped the judge the bird.
Not sure how many days of deposition counsel reserved but the judge ought to be quite willing to give them all they request for Fauci as their case develops.
One thing for sure
- given the global and national perception and panic over this "immediate medical emergency", had Trump fired the one man who was described as the nation's most brilliant expert on the threat he would have been removed from office in a matter of days.

It works, and ultimately can't be refuted, especially if you have a judiciary that is sympathetic to you.

It is a valid criticism. I thought it was bloody obvious that the slimy bastard was extraordinarily self-serving in his comments and was not to be trusted. That's just from his public statements. It seems to me, that Trump was entirely too trusting of this weasel for far too long. I suspect he ultimately made decisions based on other advisors, that really didn't serve him well in the end. He also has to deal with the reactions of the press, which pretty much canonized the cretin because ultimately, they also support the destruction of liberty while at the same time, supporting the libertine. Trump may just have been between a rock and hard place, but in the end, I think he made some serious unforced errors.
Crooks sure do have bad memories.
